The Bahá'í Faith is an independent world religion with
approximately six million adherents residing in more than 124,000
localities and established in 204 countries and territories
across the planet. Its spiritual principles affirm the oneness
of God, of humanity, and of religion, Bahá'ís believe that this
Faith is the most recent stage in the progressive revelation of a
divinely ordained process, and that Bahá'u'lláh
is the Messenger of God for this age.
Bahá'ís believe that the social problems besetting the
world today require a spiritual solution which resolves the
underlying conflicts; that global transformation can only be
achieved by a spiritual transformation on a personal level. |
